We conducted a monumental installation…and we finally reached Washington in 2002. The exhibition’s motto was: “Paper Art from Slovakia, … and we finally reached Washington…”.
As part of this unusual project, attractive paper exhibition of five Slovak artists was installed and exhibited: Miroslav Brooš, VladimírPopovič, Michaela Klimanová – Trizuljaková, Ezechiel a Samuel. The artists created paper objects in collaboration with the author of the conception and exhibition’s curator Ľubomíra Slušná. The exhibition conception and monumental installations were created for a specific part of the World Bank building and the installation process took several months.
The gigantic installations were very successful and became part of the building’s architecture for almost two years. Some of the works became part of the World Bank’s art collection.
