{"id":17723,"date":"2022-01-26T11:01:11","date_gmt":"2022-01-26T10:01:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.acec.sk\/?p=17723"},"modified":"2022-02-18T14:07:06","modified_gmt":"2022-02-18T13:07:06","slug":"united-nations-delegations-womens-club-hosted-acec","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.acec.sk\/en\/united-nations-delegations-womens-club-hosted-acec\/","title":{"rendered":"United Nations Delegations Womens\u2019 Club hosted ACEC"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\" id=\"wpb-content-root\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The United Nations Delegations Women&#8217;s Club (UNDWC) January Tea Party host was Magdal\u00e9na Rothov\u00e1, the director of Association for Culture, Education and Communication (ACEC).\u00a0 She gave a presentation on Addressing Social Inclusion of Roma Communities by Association of Culture, Education and Communication (ACEC) at the virtual event.<\/p>\n<p>More than forty ladies from all over the world, members of the club, joined the club&#8217;s January meeting. During the two-hour meeting, she presented ACEC&#8217;s activities, the situation of Roma communities in Slovakia and ACEC&#8217;s approaches to social inclusion, which ACEC has been working on for more than two decades.<\/p>\n<p>The presentation was dedicated to present the Midways for Roma Communities so called Babice, the Transport assistants and the Roma Spirit Award and followed by discussion. <em>\u201cWonderful and very touching presentation. Thank you,\u201d<\/em> responded Ana Danchevska. <em>&#8220;Thank you for a very touching presentation,&#8221;<\/em> followed Betty Robbins.<\/p>\n<p>UNDWC is a social club for UN delegates and the wives of deputy mission delegates. Civil society is also represented at the UNDWC. The club is sponsored by Catarina Vaz Pinto, wife of United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
